The 26th District Court has exclusive jurisdiction
over:
- civil litigation
- criminal misdemeanors
- the arraignment, setting, and acceptance of bail and
conducting of preliminary
- examinations in felony cases
- traffic and parking violations
- small claims disputes
- landlord-tenant disputes and land contract forfeitures
