Human Resources

Steven Aynes joined the City of Ecorse as Human Resources Director in November 2010. Mr. Aynes has over 19 years experience in City Administration and is an expert in the fields of government relations, human resources management and finance. As Human Resources Director for the City, Mr. Aynes handles labor contract negotiations, organizational development, payroll, pension, worker’s compensation and employment law compliance. Mr. Aynes’ appointment is instrumental in the implementation of the Emergency Financial Plan to address issues to stabilize the City. Steven earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxrford, OH and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Dayton, Dayton OH.
